Technology: IBM Watson Driven Algorithmic Diagnosis for Medicare Paper Work and Medical Billing

It seems everything the federal government has to regulate the health care industry, almost to the point of diverting the industry happens to represent 19% of our GDP - which could simplify the whole processes to reduce costs. At present, we have the FBI Federal Bureau of Investigation in force trying to catch fraud insurance. It is a good thing, unfortunately it is too easy to catch someone accidentally into this trap that was completely innocent.

You see, it is so easy to write code wrong, misdiagnosis of a patient, or to make an honest mistake. Fortunately, now they do not go after these people that they do correct these errors. You might be surprised how accurate it is, and it is almost as accurate as some of the best doctors in their fields. It uses many different components in the decision matrix, and more generally the top one, two, or three potential diagnosis of a patient are correct. With this tool, physicians can look at what the computer says and then look very carefully to reduce the patient. This will prevent physicians to defensive medicine when they are not quite sure. If they can not take advantage of this computer program to tell them what the diagnosis is likely they can skip unnecessary tasks and save Medicare $ 50 - $ 100 billion per year, I guess.

We want to reduce the cost of medicine and the health of this country right? It is a way to do it and it avoids the use of defensive medicine to avoid malpractice save a huge amount of money. During this time as long as the computer is diagnosed, it can also keep track of what made the diagnosis are, which ones are accepted, and actually billing Medicare. This will prevent people from slipping through the cracks and get into trouble for writing the code wrong. It will also keep doctors honest, and save us money.
